Elevate Academy
Idaho New School Fellows Matt Strong & Monica White have spent nearly two years building Elevate Academy, which will train and create a pipeline of highly-skilled, employable workers that meet the needs of Idaho industry and business, while empowering students to be leaders in their own lives.

Compass Public Charter School
Compass was opened in 2005 with the mission of preparing students for life-long excellence through exceptional academics, character development and the ability to define and defend a personal worldview. As Compass grew, they secured a separate facility for their 6th-12th grade students. Their new campus will ultimately unite grades K-12 together in one location, and will nearly double their capacity to serve the 700+ students on their wait list every year.

Treasure Valley Classical Academy
Treasure Valley Classical Academy (TVCA) is “designed to engage the student in the highest matters and the deepest questions of truth, justice, virtue, and beauty.” Led by former Air Force Colonel Stephen Lambert, TVCA will bring a classical education choice to a fully renovated historic building in the heart of rural Fruitland, Idaho, through the Barney Charter School Initiative (BCSI) and Bluum’s Idaho New School Fellowship.

Forge International School
In January, Forge International School broke ground in Middleton, Idaho. Soon, Forge will celebrate the realization of the vision to bring a high-quality, International Baccalaureate, dual-language education to rural Idaho. While physically located in Middleton, Forge International School’s boundaries also include portions of Caldwell, Greenleaf, Notus, Parma, New Plymouth, Emmett, and Star. Forge International School, part of the Sage Network of Schools, is designed and led by a rural Canyon County native who is “excited to bring high-quality learning in a fun atmosphere back to a small town. I’m ready to go back to my roots.”

Gem Prep: Pocatello
The first brick-and-mortar school of Idaho’s very own Charter Management Organization, Gem Prep: Pocatello has spent the past 5 years in what was planned to be a temporary facility. Their patience has paid off, and this August they will move into a re-purposed department store – giving students a gym, cafeteria, learning labs, and more classroom space to meet growing enrollment demand.
